UrbanArts is a progressive, not-for-profit Community Arts Council (CAC)/Local Arts Service Organization (LASO) providing opportunities for diverse cultural expression, artistic development, training and employment to members of urban communities with a focus on youth in central west Toronto. UrbanArts is in the process of transitioning its delivery of programs and services to include the broader community

Established in 2016, Lighthouse Training Center understood the Weston community lacked resources and support for at-risk youths. Seeing a need for energetic, nonprofit work in this area, we formed our organization to provide sensible solutions and education. Our experienced tradespeople collaborate with trainees previously facing barriers to employment to provide Toronto with a range of high quality construction services. We provide an opportunity for customers to improve the livability of their spaces while propelling the careers of community members

Artscape Weston Common is Artscape’s newest community cultural hub, located in the heart of the Weston-Mount Dennis community. Opened in spring 2019, this hub builds on the community’s existing creativity and rich culture, histories and traditions, offering a vibrant, inviting gathering place for people to come together to create, learn, experience local art, performance and cultural programs and events and celebrate community.
